Moving Together

King’s Park Moving Together is an exciting new project working with people who live in the King’s Park ward, which includes the Kingsmead and Clapton Park Estates, helping you keep active and socially connected.

Over the next 3 years, we’ll be working with the community to help decide how best to invest money from Sport England aimed at supporting local people to feel the benefits of being active in their everyday lives and ensuring long lasting change that will benefit the community in years to come.

Moving Together: Kings Park summer activity fund

Over the summer, we’re offering grants of up to £1,000 to projects that bring people together to do something physically active.

You might want to organise activities for children and families, evening or daytime walks or dance classes for young people or adults. Activities can be delivered in August and September.

The closing date for applications is Sunday 21 July.

There are regular free taster events taking place at venues across Kings Park ward. Follow the project on FacebookTwitter and Instagram to keep up to date.
