Sports grants and coaching

We award grants to help with the development of young people in sport, through our talented young athlete and progressive club grant schemes.

Hackney youth sport fund

We’re supporting young people’s development in sport – maybe even helping them to become world class athletes. If you’re a committed, motivated athlete who’s determined to succeed, you could be eligible to apply for a Hackney youth sports grant. We also offer community club grants for groups which contribute to the development and promotion of sport and physical activity within Hackney for young people.

Before applying to the Hackney youth sport fund, please refer to the application guidance.

Cash 4 clubs gives clubs a unique chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, and generally invest in the sustainability of their club.  Since 2008 over £100,000 has been given out in grants to 139 community sports clubs across the UK. There are 3 tiers of grants at £250, £500 and £1,000. You can make an application at any time.
